Every year the Edmonton Pride Week Society rewards outstanding individuals for their contributions to the GLBTQ community. Feel free to review the awards available and then submit a nomination with the convenient form below. Nomination deadline: May 30 2008.
         
  The Award Categories:    
         
    The Michael Phair Award: to an individual gay man for long-term contribution to the LGBTQ community.    
         
    The Maureen Irwin Award: to an individual lesbian woman for long-term contribution to the LGBTQ community.    
         
    The Sheryl McInnis Award: to an individual who, through long term scholarship, teaching and/or academic pursuit has enriched the LGBTQ community.    
         
    The Larry Sand Award: to a business that has provided long-term support and services to the LGBTQ community.    
         
    The Todd Janes Award: to an individual bisexual man or woman for long-term contribution to the LGBTQ community.    
         
    The Mickey Wilson Award: to an individual trans-identified person for long-term contribution to the LGBTQ community.    
         
    The HIV Edmonton Youth Leadership Award: for a youth or person who has worked with the LGBTQ community. Includes a $500 bursery for education.    
         
    Pride Certificates: for the recognition of an individual, business, or event outside of the above award categories.
