PARADE GUIDELINES

• Parade line-up is at 1 PM on 111 St. north of Jasper Avenue
• The Pride Parade Co-ordinator or designated individual(s) will determine the order of parade entrants
• Entries must be in place by 1:45 PM. The Parade starts at 2 PM sharp.
• All vehicles must have a licensed operator, current license plates and proof of insurance. Liability waivers releasing Pride 2003, the Edmonton Pride Week Society (EPWS) and the City of Edmonton from any and all claims due to negligence, accidents or damage caused by entries must be signed by all vehicle operators and float attendants.
• Participants must comply with all laws and follow all directions given by police and parade officials.
• Drugs and alcohol are prohibited.
• Nothing may be thrown by your parade contingent. If you are planning on passing anything out during the parade, it must be handed out.
• EPWS or designated Parade Officials reserves the right to eject any person or unit from the parade or parade area that is, in its sole discretion and opinion, posing a hindrance to safety or progress of the parade, is placing other participants or spectators in danger or is violating the implied or stated Parade policies.
• The Parade participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pride 2003 and EPWS against any and all liabilities arising from the conduct or the operations of the 2003 Pride Parade.
